What is required to book a WEDDING?

A signed contract and a retainer fee of $500 is required to reserve your wedding date.  90 days before your wedding, a payment of 50% of the balance will due, with the remaining balance due ONE week prior to your wedding date.   The retainer fee is non-refundable because it guarantees your wedding date will be exclusively held for you, and no other wedding commissions are accepted for that particular day.

 

What is required to book a PHOTO SESSION?

A signed contract and retainer fee of full payment is required to book a date for lifestyle photo session.  The retainer fee is non-refundable because it guarantees your date, and I will not accept other commissions on that day. 

 

Are Engagement Sessions included in any of your packages?  If so, are the pictures from the engagement also included?

Yes!  Engagement Sessions are complimentary and are included in EVERY collection. Digital files are also included in ALL collections!  However, depending on the collection you select will determine the amount of digital images you will receive from your Engagement Session.

 

Do you have more than one photographer to photograph a wedding?

Yes, wedding always include a second photographer.  It is important to capture different angles of the event, such as the ceremony, portraits and reception.  It is also important to be able to photograph the bride and groom getting ready at different locations.

 

How soon after the WEDDING can I expect to see my pictures?

Typically, I try and get your photos to you within 6-8 weeks, sometimes sooner, depending on my current work flow.  However, within the first 2 weeks following the wedding, I will share some of my favorites with you on a gallery, giving you a sneak peek to share with your family and friends.  I will also post a picture or two in the first week on Instagram!

 

What about Lifestyle Photo Sessions?  How soon after a session can I expect to see my pictures?

I usually provide your images to you within 2-3 weeks following the session.  In the first week, I will preview one or two pictures on Instagram.

 

How many images can I expect to see from a wedding?

An unlimited amount of pictures is taken at each event.  Weddings vary in size, as does the amount of pictures taken.  You can typically expect to see between 800-1000 images.

 

How many images can I expect to see from a Photo Session?

It depends on whether there is one, two, three or more people in the session.  So it can range anywhere from 25 to 125 photos.

 

Do you edit the photos?  Are they high resolution?

Yes.  All images are captured in high resolution, RAW format.  Each file is intricately edited and color corrected to my personal style and taste, and then converted to a .jpeg file.

 

How will I receive my digital images?

Your digital images will be presented in a gorgeous online gallery with the option to download your files directly to your computer or phone.  WEDDING galleries are available for 10 YEARS, whereas galleries featuring photo sessions are available for 6 months.

 

Will I receive a print release with the digital files?

Yes, you will receive a print release, permitting you exclusive rights to print as may copies as you wish.

 

Are albums included in any of your WEDDING packages?

Yes, depending on the collection you choose.  This will also determine the style, size and thickness of the album.

 

How Does the WEDDING ALBUM process work and when can I expect to receive it?

After you have reviewed the online gallery of your wedding photos, and provided me with your album selections (approx. 75 images), album creation and design will take up to 30 days for the first draft.  After drafts are approved by you, the album will be ordered the next business day. Your album will be ready to pick up no later than 10 days after placing the order.  You will have up to one year to make your selections for your album before there is an additional fee due to increases in production costs. 

 

Do you offer prints?

Yes!  You will be provided with a price list when booking your event.

 

Do you travel for weddings?

Yes!  We love to travel.  We've had the awesome privilege of shooting a wedding in Sweden.  And, more recently, had fun shooting a wedding in Florida!  Weddings outside a 50 mile radius of South Orange County will require additional travel fees.  

 

Do you travel for Engagement Sessions and other Photo Sessions?

Yes.  However, all photo sessions (including engagement) performed outside a 10 mile radius of Rancho Santa Margarita, CA will result in additional fees since the photo session will surpass the allotted 2-hour limit.  But we love photo sessions at the beach and other cool locations in and around Orange County and Los Angeles county! Please contact me to discuss pricing!!

 

Is there a set limit of hours for photographing a wedding?

We offer wedding coverage for up to 12 hours, after which time there is an additional hourly fee.
